Correspondence With Local Compliance Boards

1934

This series consists of letters, memoranda and reports between the national compliance authority and various state compliance boards relating to complaints resulting from the implementation of National Recovery Administration codes of fair competition. Included are reports that document the code enforcement activities for each state. The complaint reports are dated and list the name of the employer subject to the complaint, the person making the complaint, and the disposition of the complaint by the local board. The records were collected and maintained by a permanent compliance board within the Compliance Division.
